Founded in 1990, Nova Rotors is today a national and international reference company in the design and production of single screw, twin screw, floating stator and grinder pumps. With a well-established presence in the Italian market and a strong global expansion, we successfully operate in numerous countries, including the competitive American market, providing state-of-the-art solutions for a wide range of industries.

Situated at the foot of the Berici Hills, the company is made up of experts capable of combining craftsmanship with technological precision, using a computerised production process that monitors every stage, from design to testing. The quality is certified by the highest international standards, including API676, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and the prestigious 3-A certifications, essential for the food industry. We also produce ATEX-certified pumps, ideal for applications in explosive environments.

The company organisation

The Nova Rotors company is structured into highly specialised departments, each with a key role to play in ensuring quality, precision and innovation at every stage of the production process.

1. Technical Department

The operational heart of the company, where technical expertise and innovative vision come together. Customised solutions are designed and developed here, ensuring that each project meets our customers' most complex and specific application requirements.
 

2. Design and Drawing

We use state-of-the-art 2D-3D CAD software to produce detailed, high-performance designs. Each component is carefully designed and verified through specific calculations, guaranteeing precision and conformity. All procedures are stored in a computerised database according to UNI EN ISO 9001 guidelines, ensuring traceability and continuity in design quality.
 

3. Research and Development

The drive for innovation comes to life here, thanks to our collaboration with the Mechanical Engineering Department of the University of Padua. We study new applications and advanced technologies, with a focus on materials and surface treatments, to ensure abrasion resistance and high performance.
Finite Element Calculation (FEM) We perform advanced structural analysis through Finite Element Calculation (FEM), optimising geometries and materials. This technique allows us to design robust and efficient pumps, capable of operating even in the most critical conditions.

4. Quality Control and Metrology

Dimensional control is a fundamental step. Each component undergoes thorough analysis to check its dimensions and tolerances, avoiding the production of non-conforming parts. This process allows us to optimise performance and maintain an excellent price/quality ratio.
Quality Control is one of the key functions in our company, essential to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards. We are committed to monitoring, inspecting and verifying every step of the production process, ensuring that there are no defects and that the end result fully meets our customers' expectations and industry regulations.
We also carefully manage internal and supplier non-conformities, promptly addressing any issues to minimise the impact on production. Working with our after-sales team, we closely follow our customers in the timely resolution of any complaints, ensuring that each situation is handled effectively to maintain high customer satisfaction.
 

5. Production

Our production area is managed through advanced computer systems, which monitor every step of the process, from launch to delivery. This approach reduces errors and delays, ensuring efficient and timely production. Although small in size, we are a rapidly expanding international company, thanks to a solid, quality-oriented organisation.
 

6. Testing

Each pump undergoes rigorous testing in our hydraulic test room. Using a computerised data acquisition system, we record key parameters such as pressure, flow rate, absorption, NPSH and starting torque.


Thanks to these specialised divisions, we are able to offer products of excellence, the result of a process that has been carried out down to the last detail, from design to final testing.

A look into the future

Thanks to an innovation-oriented philosophy, we have collaborated with the Mechanical Engineering Department of the University of Padua to develop new applications and constantly improve materials and surface treatments, ensuring high strength and durability. This allows us to push standardised boundaries by offering a product range that covers flow rates up to 520 m³/h and pressures up to 48 bar, thus meeting the most complex and diversified needs of global markets.
